How can I delete my synchronization account?

You can delete your synchronization account and all data tied to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — Delete it inside the app

This is the fastest way and works on both Android and iOS:

  1. Open the Shopping App on your device.
  2. Go to Synchronization.
  3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, send an email to support@shopping-app.net from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your request and process it manually.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all your synchronized list data from our servers within 72 hours. This includes your lists, items, categories, and shared list memberships.

This action cannot be undone. If you only want to stop syncing without losing your data, simply sign out instead — your lists will remain on the device you're using.

What is not affected

Your app purchases (such as the Pro version) are tied to your Google or Apple account, not your synchronization account, and are not removed. You can reinstall and restore them at any time by signing in with the same store account.
